Carrot Persons in their room

carrot people

I got into trouble for using this campus gallery (every department is so territorial and it serves me right for forgetting about that part of academia) but I'm still glad I did just because I'm finally happy with this piece after seeing it as I had intended it to be.

Relief print sintracut on unbleached muslin and bleached white flannel using black block printing ink (with one in dark brown). This piece is the largest relief print I've done in years, and certainly the most detailed of all of the printed sculptural pieces I've made.

I don't have a title for this piece as of yet, but I'm working on it.
